I want to start by saying the year is off to a great start and the ESL Program is growing! I have been teaching ESL/LEP in Harrison County for 7 years now and based out of Bridgeport Middle School. Currently, the county is serving over 100 students at 21 schools that speak another language at home. I service children at Johnson, Simpson, Bridgeport Middle/High, Cubby's, Anmoore Head Start and Clarksburg Head Start.
Homework Must Do's
1. Read to your children as early and often as possible in both English aandthe family's native language.
2. Go over homework more than once.
3. Create a 'quiet zone' for your children to do thiei homework.
