Fund for Teachers
Fund for Teachers provides grants directly to teachers, supporting their professional learning. Their experiences come in many forms, and share the purpose of enhanced teaching skills. We believe that by experiencing personal and professional potential, teachers inspire students. Fund for Teachers' grants are awarded to teachers work-ing with students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Teachers submit proposals detailing how their fellowship will make them a better teacher and how their improved skills are to be implemented in the classroom, benefiting students, curricula and school. Teachers are awarded based on application quality and merit as judged by a committee.

Project Ignition (PI) applications are due by Nov.15.
By promoting PI, you can help your local school earn service-learning money and potentially save young lives in the process.
PI projects focus on creatively raising awareness on teen driver safety in local communities. Twenty-five schools will receive a $2,000 grant to support their project, and 10leader schools will receive an additional $2,500 in funding, plus $5,000 to attend the annual National Service-Learning Conference.
For the past six years, Project Ignition has used service-learning initiatives to reduce the alarmingly high rates of car crashes among teenagers. State Farm sponsors PI, which has reached millions since its inception.
Project applications will be accepted from students in grades 9 through 12 and their teachers or advisors.
