School buses are the safest mode of transportation for children. Harrison County Schools provides transportation for more than 8,000 students riding 98 buses each day. Twelve of the 98 buses provide services for students requiring special needs. These buses are provided with a school bus aide who is well-trained in both safe driving techniques and working with students with special needs.
