Student Council
Introduction
The Lincoln High School Student Council is an organization responsible to do all in its power to promote the ideals and purpose of school spirit, high standards, and positive atmosphere within school life. To emphasize the development of leadership, scholarship and character among fellow students; also to promote the school's standing in the community and its relations with other schools along with the state organization.
Club Info
There are currently 75 members.
Recent activities include:
- Raised $600 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- Adopted 4 students for the Angel Luv Program
- Repainted the cougar paws located at the front of the school
- Raised $1,100 from the Talent Show
- Fall Convention
- Super Leadership Day at University High School (with motivational speaker, Keith Hawkins)
- Top SCholar Program
Membership
- The President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer of the student body
- One representative from each homeroom
- The chairpersons for standing committees
- The Principal and a teacher serve as advisors
