LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL DAILY MEMO August 30, 2010 It’s a 14 Day!! A REMINDER TO AA TEACHERS THAT MORNING TECH CENTER AND TRI-COUNTY STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ATTENDING AA – PLEASE DO NOT COUNT THEM ABSENT 1. Any teacher needing more textbooks please see Mrs. Votaw with name of book, publisher, ISBN and number of books needed. 2. No food or drink in academic area. 3. Flower Fund is $10.00 payable to Mrs. Votaw – Faculty Family is $10.00 payable to Mrs. Payton. 4. 11th & 12th Grade students: Credit recovery for 11th and 12th graders and tutoring will begin every M thru F after school from 3 to 5 in computer lab. If interested in credit recovery, fill out form with Mrs. Decker and turn it in. We will start August 30th. 5. Tutoring is every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 7 to 7:36 in Mrs. Payton’s room. Also, tutoring is every Monday thru Friday from 3 to 5 after school in computer lab with credit recovery. We also will have FSU students in English and Math 11th & 12th classes during the day. THIS ALL BEGINS AUGUST 30TH!! 6. Teachers – If you are interested in being placed on the county tutoring list please let Mr. Underwood know today and what fields you would tutor in. 7. If a student is in your class and not on your class roster, please send them to the office!! 8. Water is being sold in Mr. Wilson’s room daily for $1.00! 9. Teachers: If we page a student from your room and the student is NOT there please pick up the phone and let us know. Otherwise we will assume you are sending student. Thank you. 10. Any 11th or 12th Gear Up student wanting to go visit Wheeling Jesuit, West Liberty or Shepherd College needs to sign up with Mrs. Boyles by September 3rd. 11. Reminder about DCT Students: On 14 day they will leave at 1:20, on a 58 day they will leave after AA at 11:45 unless they advise you they need to sign out earlier to go to work – Any questions about the signing out early due to work see Mrs. Cole 12. AA teachers: Should you have a question about a college student attending AA or not please contact either Mrs. Decker or Mrs. Votaw. 13. Fall weightlifting will be on Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays from 3 to 4:30 pm. Make sure your ride is there by 4:20 and ALL school rules apply. 16. Any club advisor electing officers are reminded that the club president is a member of the Student Council–at-Large. Please send their name and who the advisor of the club is to Mr. Wilson ASAP. 17. Credit Recovery Forms are available from both counselors 18. Any teacher that has seen or found a silver SONY Sound System please see Mrs. Boyles/ 19. Balfour will be delivering class rings on Friday, September 3rd from 10:45 – 11:45. All balances are due. Cash payments and money orders will be accepted on delivery September 3rd. If you have any questions or need to place an order please see the Balfour representative on September 3rd. MENU: Hot dogs, French fries, baked beans, cake, ice cream and fruit.
