Hello!

     My name is Kathy DeMarco and I teach Physical Education.  I have taught Phys. Ed. For the last 18 years at Lumberport Elementary.  Before teaching P.E., I also taught 5^th Grade and a part-time gifted class, both at this school.

      I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Fairmont State in 1983.

     I also hold a Master’s Degree in Special Education from West Virginia University, which I received in 2000.

Personal Information:

     I am married to Frank A. DeMarco, Harrison County Magistrate, and we have two children. Our daughter Tara works as a Nail Technician at Tuscan Sun Spa in Bridgeport, and also is the manager of the new Barbara Heights Apartments in Shinnston. Our son, Ryan A. DeMarco, attends West Virginia University majoring in Criminology Investigations.  We also have two wonderful grandchildren, Emma and Sammie.

Hobbies:

Playing with my grandchildren and our new puppy Lilly Bell, reading, swimming, and playing the piano.
