September Notes
Mrs. Folio and Mrs. Gentilozzi would like to welcome a new group of kindergarten students to the 2008-2009 school year. September is a very busy and exciting time.
There are several activities that we will focus on at the start of school. This will consist of writing first names, identifying letters in first name, recognizing colors, identifying shapes, reciting one’s address, phone number, and birthday, and identifying and recognizing numbers 0-10.
One of our goals is to keep our parents informed. Each week a newsletter will be sent home to keep parents up to date on lessons and activities for that week. Please read and sign the agenda book daily. The agenda book is a way for teachers and parents to communicate with each other.
We are looking forward to working with your children. Please play an active role in your child’s education.
