Mrs. Wayts Homepage About Me This is my third year teaching at Lumberport Elementary. I really enjoy working with kindergarten students. It is amazing to see their progress throughout the year. I graduated from Fairmont State with a degree in elementary education. I also have a masters degree from WVU in reading. We are so excited to be moving into our new state of the art building. We have lots of new technology to be used in the classroom. I will be posting pictures as soon as the room is ready. Kindergarten standards have changed some this year. Our expectations are the same, but we are taking some new teaching approaches. There will be more time within our schedules for developmental centers and creative play.
Sight Words Your child will be learning a few sight words each week to practice for automaticity.
