Education: Lincoln High School Class of '81, BS in Elementary Education from Fairmont State University, MA in Elementary Education from Salem University and Library Science Specialization K-12.
Certifications: Master + 45 in Elementary Education K-8, Library Media Specialist K-12.
Experience: 27 years experience in Harrison County Schools with majority spent at Big Elm Elementary.
Personal: I am married to Sam DeMarco, and have three children - Zach, a 2010 civil engineering graduate of WVU, employed with Greenhorne + O'Mara Engineers, Kylea, a junior Civil Engineering major at WVU, and Kendal, a 6th grader at LMS. We have a golden retriever, Gracie, and a bad cat named, Lily. We live in Shinnston.
LMS Media Center: The LMS media center incorporates collaboration, leadership, curriculum enhancement, and technology. It is the home for research, books, computers, videos, and valuable learning tools. The media center is open to all students. I would like to create a learning environment that fosters academic and instructional support, as well as a comfortable gathering area for recreational reading.
