North View Mission Statement
Recognizing that all our children come to us with important knowledge, skills and abilities, we at North View Elementary School posses high positive expectations for our student in order to foster wonder, develop knowledge, and bring understanding of learning to a high level.
To achieve its mission, North View Elementary School proposes the following goals:
o Create a learning environment in which our children feel secure to take risks, ask questions, learn by doing and freely express their talents and abilities.
o Provide a core of shared knowledge, thereby enabling our children to gain new knowledge by building on what they already know, thus providing equal opportunity for all to learn.
o Provide our children with appropriate learning materials and impart to all of them the thinking/learning skills and strategies necessary for the lifelong attainment of knowledge.
