REFERRAL WORK:
Referrals are made to the following agencies, etc. throughout the school year.
Human Services, Summit Center, Family Services, Phoenix, Chestnut Ridge Hospital, Fox Run Hospital, St. Joseph Hospital, Police Department, County Office Staff, Court System, Probation Office, Student Advocate Program, Parenting Program, Vocational Rehabilitation, Educational Agencies-Schools-Colleges- Universities, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Social Security Administration, Information Referral, Food Pantries, Clarksburg Housing Authority , Salvation Army, Mustard Seed, CAP -Children's Apparel Program, Sacred Heart Fund, Tri-County Alternative School, Speech Therapist, Gifted Teacher, School Psychologist, Health Nurse, Harrison County Health Department, Academic Challenge Coordinator, Special Ed Coordinator, Mountaineer Challenge Academy, Local Ministerial Association, etc.
CONSULTATION WORK:
Consultations about students are made throughout the year to the following contacts.
Teachers, Parents, Other Counselors, Homebound Teachers, Health Nurse, Healthy Schools Coordinator, Doctors, SBA T and 504 Committees, Student Assistance Program, Attendance Committee, Principal's Committee for School Issues, Credit by Portfolio Process Committee, Scholarship Committees, Homeroom Advisors, WI Middle Personnel and other local middle schools, Administrators, Attendance Officer, Special Services, Support Staff including secretaries, custodians, and cooks, etc.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND CLERICAL DUTIES:

All paperwork for enrollment purposes including Safe Schools legislated, notarized document Records on to computer

Changing addresses and phone numbers

Update NCAA reports
Maintain cumulative records
Attend special events
Serve on various committees

HEALTH CLINIC DUTIES:
Supervision of health clinic
Dispensing medications when needed
Dispensing medical supplies when needed
Contacting parents when necessary
Supervising breathing treatments when necessary
Supervising diabetic checks by students
Dispensing allergy and allergic reaction medication when needed
Assisting in heart problem monitoring when needed
Examination of students for lice when requested
Working with Health Nurse
Liaisons with RCB Boosters Club to provide supplies for clinic
Liaisons with Medical Auxiliary at UHC to furnish clinic with equipment and supplies
