Bill Bennett graduated from Washington Irving High School in 1973. He attended Fairmont State College where he graduated in 1988, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physical Education and Special Education. He obtained a Masters Degree in Special Ediucation in 1995 form West Virginia University. He married the former Lisa Ann Reymond in 1980. Bill and Lisa are the parents of two adult children, Katie Nicole and Todd Reymond, both alumni of Robert C. Byrd High School.
