The 2008 AP Parent and Student Bulletins are in. They have valuable information about the exam schedule, exam fees, reduced-fee exams, security policies, exam grades, etc. Please see Mr. Brown if you need a copy
***The booklet says the exam fee is $84, but Harrison County does not charge the students the $8 school rebate charge; therefore, the AP Exam fee is $76.
In early March, each AP teacher will be sent a rooster form to have students sign up for the AP Exams.
Closer to testing time in May, each AP teacher will receive two different letters to give their students explaining testing procedures and testing tips.
All exams are given in the Board Room at the County Office.
2008 AP Exam Schedule and Fees
The College Board has announced the fee for each 2008 AP Exam is $76. This is an increase of $1 from the previous year. Low-income students may take an exam for free, and if they pass the exam with a three or higher, they will be eligible for thousands of dollars in federal grants for college.
The 2008 Exam Schedule is listed below. Sign up with your AP instructor or contact Mrs. Tomes, the AP Coordinator for Harrison County. The exams will be given at the Harrison County Board of Education.
The Student and Parent Bulletin will be distributed in January with further AP information.
