Attention Seniors: the Burger King Scholars Program Scholarship is now accepting applications. The deadline is February 2, 2009. To be eligible, you must have a GPA of at least 2.5, work part-time 15 hours per week, participate in community service and/or co-curricular activities, and demonstrate financial need. You must apply online by visiting www.bk.com/scholars.
Salem International University is interesting in hosting a bus tour and campus visitation for interested juniors and seniors. Please see the counselor if you are interested in attending.
Tufts University, Vanderbilt University, and Vassar College are hosting an Evening Information Session in Charleston on Tuesday, October 21 from 7:00-8:30. The event will take place at the Charleston Marriott Town Center. See Mrs. Robinson for more information.

All students, grades 9-12, are encouraged to visit www.anycollege.com to enter scholarship drawings that are offered four times a year. The deadlines are March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. The website will also provide students with the opportunity to research colleges and universities.
