Science 9: Introductory study of chemistry and physics including nomenclature of ionic and covalent compounds, balancing chemical equations, velocity and acceleration problems, vector addition and dimensional analysis.
Environmental Earth: This class concentrates on the study of the earth and how we interact with our surroundings. The class does a longitudinal stream study of lost creek in which 17 different parameters are studied over an eight week period. The results are then displayed in a formal lab report due at the end of the semester.
