Welcome to Coach Clayton's web page. I've been teaching in Harrison County for 29 years. Ten of my years were spent teaching 6th grade at West Milford and Summit Park Elementary schools. I am in my 19th year as Physical Education teacher at WMES. I earned my B.A. degree in elementary education from Fairmont State College. and I recieved my masters in P.E. from Salem College. I love to coach football and I am currently the defensive coordinator at South Harrison H.S. I began my coaching career at Central Jr. H.S. and quickly moved up to coaching varsity football at Washington Irving H.S. and Robert C. Byrd H.S. Along the way I coached linebackers at Salem College and Glenville State College under Rich Rodriquez. I also coached baseball while at W.I.H.S. I'm married to my beautiful wife Beth who teaches in the gifted program at Adamston Elementary school and I have two wonderful daughters named Cheyenne and Shawna who are very active in sports at M.M.S. and L.H.S. I also have a great Siberian Husky named Storm. My hobbies include football, art, magic, boating and playing sports with my family.
