LiveGrades Parent & Student Sign-In

In reading, we are learning about words that contain "ow" such as cow and now.  We are also learning how to read words that end in -le, such as candle and little.  Our students are reading a lot of sight words now!  We are also learning about commands in grammar.  In math, we are learning how to measure using inches, feet, and centimeters.

We are getting ready for second grade!  I have been talking to the students a lot about listening and following directions.  We are also working on carefully checking over our work before we turn it in.  This is definitely an important skill!  It's almost time for second grade!

"Change" Drive

Our school is having a "change" drive to raise money for the Lost Creek Food Pantry.  Send your change to school with your child so that we can help feed those who are without food.  We will have tables set up in the front hallway where students may come to drop off their money.  Help us make a "change" in this community!
