James Reaser, Member, Harrison County Board of Education

     James L. Reaser has served on the Harrison County Board of Education for 30 years.  Jim and his wife Connie, married 49 years, live at Lake Floyd.  They are the parents of Mark Reaser, a WVU Engineering graduate, who is Director of Gas Environmental Services for Dominion Transmission in Clarksburg, and Amy R. Bunch, a graduate of the WVU School of Pharmacy and is employed as the Pharmacist in Charge at Salem Colonial Pharmacy.  Jim and Connie have two grandchildren, Clarissa Bunch, a student at Salem Middle School and Corey Bunch, a student at Van Horn Elementary School in Salem.

     Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Jim was educated in Harrison County public schools.  He was an assistant plant manager and employee relations administrator for Union Carbide Corp. in Anmoore, now retired.  He attended Salem College and served as an officer in the U.S. Army Engineers.  He is a member of the Enon Baptist Church where he serves as deacon.
