Mr. Paul J. Howe, III, President
Harrison County Board of Education

 

Mr. Paul J. Howe is a native to Harrison County and a successful product of its community schools.  He attended Morgan Grade School, Central Jr. High, and Washington Irving High School.  As a Fairmont State University graduate, he has gone on to pursue a career as a Realtor and to operate a real estate consultation and management company.  Paul’s wife Amy has been a high school science teacher for eleven years, and is employed at Liberty High School.  They have three young boys, Gabriel, Matthew, and Jacob.

 

Prior to the Board of Education, Paul served as an elected member to the Clarksburg Water Board from 2003 – 2008.  In the last three years of his service, he served as chairman of the board.  He resigned from the CWB in June 2008 to take the office of school board member.

 

 A firm believer in continuing education and keeping abreast of new technologies and practice, Paul continues to take education courses.  His most recent classes included Investment Banking, Ethics in Real Estate, Satisfying the Buyer's Needs, and Land Development Training. He has also attended two week-long seminars in Las Vegas

for Sales and Marketing. On behalf of the Clarksburg Water Board, he attended a training of the Mountaineer Influenza Containment Exercise.  Most recently, Paul attended the Create WV conference held at Stonewall Resort.


Paul currently serves as a volunteer board member for the Harrison County EMS.  He is also an active member of the VFW Men’s Auxiliary, Knights of Columbus, and the Serra Club.
