Literacy Work Stations Foster Student Success and Teacher Satisfaction
Nutter Fort Primary teachers are committed to redesigning classroom instruction, thanks to the help of national consultant Debbie Diller. Diller's Making Literacy Stations Work, is the professional book that teachers look to for guidance. Title I reading specialists and classroom teachers have formed professional study groups that meet bi-monthly after school to share ideas, successes, and challenges. Students are the benefactors of this initiative as they are learning to be self-directed learners while developing a love for reading.
