Chess Club

Club meetings are held every Monday during both lunches in Mr.
Nesler's room. There are currently 15 to 20 members. Members participate in chess tournaments held in Morgantown and and members also participate in intramural tournaments.
Chess club members prepare during the school year for the WV State Scholastic Chess Championship held in Charleston in March. One of the club's members has won three WV scholastic chess championships and has participated in the Denker Invitational National High School Chess Tournament.
Anyone is welcome to join!
