Roberta Sinsel
Library Media Specialist/Virtual School Coordinator

Roberta Sinsel has been employed by the Harrison County Board of Education since 1985.  She has taught at Shinnston Elementary School, Big Elm Elementary School, Bridgeport High School and was an evening instructor at WV Business College and United Technical Center.  Mrs Sinsel graduated from Fairmont State with a Bachelor of Arts in Education receiving certifications in School Library Media and Business Education.  Continuing her education at the University of Southern Mississippi she earned a Master of Library Science degree.  Addtionally, Mrs. Sinsel has 58 hours of post graduate work emphasizing educational technology.  Mrs. Sinsel is also currently an adjunct instructor for Marshall University, Graduate School of Education and Professional Development, teaching courses in the School Library Media Certification Program.

The goal of BHS library is to create an inviting and comfortable environment while providing for students' and staff's informational and reading needs. The library strives to make students and staff skillfull in identifying, locating, analyzing, and utilizing information for educational and recreational purposes.

A life-long resident of Harrison County, Mrs. Sinsel grew up in Shinnston and now resides in Bridgeport with her husband and two sons.
