Gladys Williams
I have been a teacher in Harrison County for 32 years. I spent 14 years at Roosevelt Wilson High School, 3 years at Lumberport Middle School and have been at Bridgeport for 15 years. I am a graduate of Fairmont State College and received my Master's Degree in Physcial Education from West Virginia University. I teach Physical Education and Health. I try to make my students aware of the importance of a healthy lifestyle and encourage them to make changes where necessary. I am the Healthy, Safe and Drug Free Coordinator, Wellness Coordinator, TATU and BABES advisor. I am the recipient of the 2001 Harrison County Board of Education Drug Free Schools Appreciation Award and the 2006 RESA VII RAZE Advisor of the Year Award. I enjoy all sports especially swimming, water aerobics, golf and skiing. I am married to Tom, and we have two sons, Matthew, 24 and Tyler, 20.
