Welcome to the computer lab!
Mrs. Alice Maxwell is the computer teacher. She has been teaching in the Shinnston area for 34 years! She began teaching 2nd grade at Wyatt. After 5 years there, she moved to Shinnston Elementary and taught music and physical education for 2 years as a planning period teacher. Then she taught 3rd grade for 24 years at Shinnston and Big Elm! This is her 3rd year in the computer lab, however. So far, she's loving it! Her husband is Gary, and she has two grown sons, Levi and Logan.
We are fortunate enough to have received new Dell computers in the lab just 2 years ago! The K-3 students will be working on correct keyboarding skills using many fun activities. Our 4th and 5th graders will be working on Microsoft Word, correct keyboarding, and many other fun, educational activities.
