 Spelling - Our spelling test will be on Thursdays. Words are listed on the Welcome to 3rd grade site.
Math- Continue to practice standard numbers, expanded numbers, word form, odd & even. We will begin to find factors, multiples, and add with regrouping.
Reading- Our story is "Penguin Chick". Please study vocabulary. We will begin reading groups.
Language Arts- Common and Proper Nouns. Also continuing to practice subject, predicate, sentences, and compound sentences.
Science/Health- Chapter 2 in Science: Types of Plants and What do plants need to live? Health: Digestive and Respiratory System
Social Studies-Map skills, practice the 7 continents: both naming and identifying.
Class store – Students purchase items with play money that they earn with good behavior, perfect papers, quizzes, and doing their best!
