 Spelling- Study words nightly, also practice ABC order; practice test is given on Wednesday and the final test on Friday.
Reading- Read little books each evening, don't forget to sign slip; textbook comes home on Tuesdays. Test for story will be given on Wednesday.
Language Arts- Students are learning about nouns, verbs, and how to write simple sentences.
Math- Basic facts (addition and subtraction), skip counting, missing numbers, money, time, 2-digit additon and subtraction
Health/Soc. St./Science- Studying butterflies and their lifecycles. Also, will be learning about the Solar System. In Health class, students will learning about tobacco prevention.
Read each night for at least 15 min; go over spelling words and word wall words.

Please read with your child every night and talk about the story that you read with your child.
