Welcome to Mrs. Vincent's
2nd Grade
Reading:Read each night with your child. Study your reading story for the test on Friday.
Spelling:Study your spelling words each night. There will be a practice test on Wednesday. If you make 100%, you will not have to take it again on Friday!
Math:Study your addition and subtraction facts. Review any new math skills with your child that are sent home.
Handwriting:Practice your handwriting skills. We will be learning to write in cursive this year.
REMEMBER TO CHECK HOMEWORK FOLDERS EACH NIGHT
Students will go to the treasure box when they fill there incentive chart. (every 4-5 weeks or so)
WE WILL HAVE A WONDERFUL YEAR IN SECOND GRADE!!!!
