What is happening in Mrs. Akers' Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten class has been “CHILLING OUT” this month. We are enjoying many activities involving snow, winter clothing, snowmen, mittens, temperature, penguins, and polar bears. We have also started Guided Reading and the students are really working hard. The students will be bringing home Guided Reading books nightly and we encourage you to listen to your child read each night and have your child sound out any words that he/she does not know.
Reminders
Please go over the following sight words nightly. am, a, have, I, is, like, little, my, see, the, to, we, on, can, it, this, me, with, an, where, for, red, blue, orange, black, brown, yellow, purple, green, zero, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, and ten.
