Meet The Administrators

Principal:

Hi, I’m Mrs. Vicki Huffman. I was the assistant principal at Johnson Elementary for 5 years before becoming the principal this year.  I spent 15 years as an elementary teacher and 7 years at the county level as a Reading, English and Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator K-12.  I worked with Elementary, Middle and High Schools in the county as well as a Kindergarten and Pre-K County Coordinator.

I grew up in Harrison County, graduated from South Harrison High School and played Women’s Basketball at Fairmont State College where I earned my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education. I’ve completed graduate degrees from Salem-Teikyo University, Marshall University and Salem University. I now reside in Bridgeport with my son, Tyler and husband Jay Matthews.  I am excited about this school year and hope that we all can “Reach for the Stars”.
