Meet The Administrators

Mr. Stromberg has over 32 years of experience in the field of education; all which were at Johnson Elementary School. During his years he has served as a teacher, assistant principal and currently the principal at Johnson Elementary. Mr. Stromberg resides in Bridgeport with his daughter where they enjoy community activities and attend Quiet Dell United Methodist Church.	Ms. Vicki Huffman is the assistant principal at Johnson Elementary. Before coming to Johnson Elementary, Vicki spent 15 years as an elementary teacher and 7 years at the county level as a Reading, English and Language Arts Curriculum Coordinator. She worked with Elementary, Middle and High Schools in the county as well as a Kindergarten and Pre-K Coordinator. Ms. Huffman grew up in Harrison County and now resides in Bridgeport with her son, Tyler. Ms. Huffman is very excited to be working with Johnson Elementary students, teachers, staff, parents and the community.

Mrs. Davis

Karen is the full time administrative assistant at Johnson Elementary.

She resides in Bridgeport with her husband Warren"Gizzy" Davis and son Rafe.

Karen likes the outdoors, spending time with her friends and loving on her three grandsons.

Mrs. Shahan

Verna was born and raised in Morgantown, WV and is married to Michael R. Shahan. She moved to Bridgeport in 1984 and has a son, Jeremy, daughter Laura DeLeurere and son-in-law Zach.

Verna worked as a secretary for WVU Medical Technology Department and WVU College of Mineral and Energy Resources before moving to Bridgeport. She then worked at First United Methodist Church in Clarksburg as the Financial Secretary before being hired as a substitute secretary for the Harrison County Schools in 2002. She was hired full time in 2006 at Harden Elementary and then moved to Johnson and Nutter Fort Primary, working half days at each school.

She is a member of the Bridgeport Free Methodist Church, and is involved in her church's summer teen, children's and family camps. She enjoys being with her family, scrapbooking, and traveling.
