Welcome to Second Grade!
Second Grade -Super Bowl Monday
It was a Super Bowl Monday for the second grade students at Johnson Elementary School.
Each child attempted to reach their goal (West Virginia State Benchmark) by completing twenty-eight addition and subtraction facts in less than two minutes.
Teachers, Mrs. Rice, Mrs. Rexroad, Mrs. Folio, and Mrs. Barnes, then placed the student football players, who were successful, on the “Wall of Fame”.
The students pictured are those that reached their goal and made the “Wall of Fame”.
A March Madness is planed for early spring to prepare for the end of the year benchmarks, as well.
