WELCOME to the Johnson Elementary School Library Media Center.
Reading is vital to educational success. Encouraging lifelong reading habits and promoting the joy of reading are our goals. Students are encouraged to check-out two books each library visit. Fiction, non-fictional informational, paperbacks and picture books are popular. Students enjoy access to several children's magazines such as Ranger Rick, Cobblestone, National Geographic for Kids and ZooBooks. Reference books such as The Guiness Book of World Records and World Almanac for Kids are available to read in the library. Student and staff suggestions and requests for books are always welcomed.
Special schoolwide reading programs include the Snowbird Summer Reading Program and annual fall and spring Scholastic Book Fairs.
