I am a 1976 graduate of South Harrison High school and a 1980 graduate of Glenville State University.  I have my B.A. in Physical Education  K-12 and minor in Safety Education  7-12.  I was awarded the Montrose athletic award which is only awarded to the top athletes.  I will be the only female who will ever achieve this award.  The current award is the Williams Award for females only.
I have one son,Dennis R. Goodwin, who has his degree in Exercise Physiology from Fairmont State University.
I have been teaching for 26 years,15 years with behavorial disorders and am currently been teaching at Johnson Elementary school for 6 years which I love dearly.
I have been a Certified Volleyball Official for 26 yrs- refereeing on Middle School,High School and College Levels.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR MY CLASS:I will start the school year 2011-12 year with the Theme "Shooting For The Stars" with Soccer Skills, Pass,Punt and Kick Contest (ages 6-12), FitnessGram Testing which consists of Aerobics(Mile Run-Pacer),Flexibility(Arm Stretch-Sit-n-Reach), Upper Body Strength(Push-ups-Modified Pull-ups), Curl-ups, Trunk Lift,BMI(Height & Weight) with only 4th and 5th graders being tested.I will do skill testing with grades K-2 in January.I will be doing Jump Rope/Hoops For Heart in February. Other contests will be Hoop Shoot and Marbles(ages 8-12).
