8TH GRADE SCIENCE

All students will be required to keep a science journal that will be given to them the first days of school.  This is an important part of their grade and an essential study tool.  The journal is to have a "Table of Contents" that is a list of everything required to be in the journal at that time.

• All students are required to write their assignments into their agenda.
• All students are required to sign a safety contract to participate in lab work.
• Glencoe textbook can be accessed on line.   Click here to access the link for your textbook.  The password is CF2FC0625F.

Science Fair projects are not required but they will be counted as extra credit.  This extra credit may be banked and used by the student throughout the year.  It cannot be used to raise their grade more than one letter.  If students work in pairs they must share the credit.  Extra Credit points will be based on the points awarded by the judges.
