 Nutter Fort Elementary School Mission Statement


Nutter Fort Intermediate School promotes achievement for all through cooperation, contribution, consideration and celebration.

Core Beliefs that Drive Nutter Fort Intermediate School

We believe...
   
1.   Education is a shared responsibility.  Through the creation of a schoolwide process for connecting students, families, and educators to community agencies, health services, counseling, and other services student success and respect will be promoted.

2.   All student can learn.  Staff will work together in a cohesive manner to develop, prioritize, and map the WV CSOs to assure alignment of curriculum between grade levels.

3.   Learners have varied needs.  The staff will adjust to and use various scheduling models, classroom configurations, and differentiated instructional strategies in an effort to meet the needs of varied learners and their learning styles.

4.   Lifelong learning is necessary.  Al staff members, parents, and community members will be enabled to participate in educational opportunities and professional development that are aligned with the schoolwide improvement plan its goals.

5.   Trust is vital.  It is expected that all NFI staff will treat all students, parents, each other, and community members as respected and valued partners in the educational process.
