You are a true communicator if you can think, speak, read and write in standard English. Slang gets you nowhere but into a very informal conversation with a friend or with a pet--or into possible misunderstanding. Let your language speak for you, relaying exactly what you are thinking. Paint an explicitly detailed picture in the minds of your listeners and readers; let them think your thoughts and experience your experiences. There is no closer tie between humans than excellent communication.Welcome to Mrs. Lafferty's English Language Webpage!Feel free to contact Mrs. Lafferty through her West Virginia Board of Education sponsored email address: elaffert@access.k12.wv.us elaffert@access.k12.wv.us elaffert@access.k12.wv.us elaffert@access.k12.wv.us elaffert@access.k12.wv.us elaffert@access.k12.wv.us elaffert@access.k12.wv.us elaffert@access.k12.wv.us ",""RULE 4: IF YOU THINK YOUR TEACHER IS TOUGH, WAIT TILL YOU GET A BOSS."
