Welcome to Ms. Miranda's Class!

St. Patrick's Day fun

We made a "Leprechaun Trap" to try to catch that sneaky leprechaun!

This is what the children think the leprechaun will look like when we catch him!

We are having a "Roaring" Good Time!  Dinosaurs have been such a fun theme!

We measured an Apatosaurus and found that it takes 29 Preschool children to be the same length!

Putting together dinosaur blocks.

Making dinosaur bones out of class-made play dough.

This is a prehistoric scene that the class created using a cardboard box, paint, and play dough.  We then added dinosaurs to play!

Our Class is "Out of this World!!"

Our preschool classes after learning about stars and constellations in the Mobile Star Lab (the large gray blow up in the background!)

Our students created "rockets" out of straws.  We then launched them across the room using a rocket launcher!

In small groups, the children worked together using a robot arm.  The groups completed the mission to manipulate the arm in order to pick up a small circle and place it into a larger one!

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!

We've been so busy in our classroom!

During hibernation week, the children decided the bears needed a campfire!  (Notice our cave in the background....shhh!  the bears are asleep!)

Working on the computers

Using our classroom's iPad

Designing and creating toys to use in the classroom!

We are having "snow" much fun!

Snowmen the students created with collage materials.

This is the "shape snowmen" that our class created during circle time!

Using colored chalk, the children traced their friends to create individual "shape snowmen!"

Here are the "shape snowmen" results!

Our class traveled the "Polar Express" in December and we even got to meet Santa!

Santa talked to us about being good and then gave us all a bell and reindeer food.

Our class and Ms. Mack's class listened to The Polar Express in our pajamas!

In October, we went on another field trip to the 4-H Center.  This was called "Kindercamping!"

Smokey the Bear talked to us about fire safety.

We went on a hayride to try to find Big Foot!
