Parents - The P.A.W.S. walking program is now over. Thank you to children who participated in this program. The children will receive their t-shirts, awards, etc. after Spring break. The children brought home reading logs. Please fill out the books and number of pages they read and return at the end of each month. Let's save those box tops. We are currently in 1st place for the 3rd grades. All children need to spend a FEW minutes EVERY night memorizing multiplication facts. They are now responsible for all facts 0-10 in random order. Many children are NOT turning in their work. Please remind them that they are inschool to learn not only socialize.
SNOW,SNOW, SNOW!!! Hopefully we are near the end of snow days and delayed openings but, until the weather breaks everyone needs to be aware of my test, assignment, etc. policy. If the children have been assigned work, a test etc. they will be expected to be prepared with that assignment, for the test, etc. on the first day we return to school after the due date. I sent a policy letter home with every child stating this policy in December, but, it needed to be restated. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

***ATENTION: Ms. Martino was kind enough to put Acuity lessons on the computer for our class to use to help us prepare for the Benchmark tests. These lessons are based on the required C.S.O.'s for Third Grade. Any and all students are encouraged to log on and take advantage of these helpful lessons. Please contact me with any questions. (Thanks Ms. Martino)
This is flu season and some children are starting to show symptoms. If your child is not feeling well please keep him/her home. Their health is too important to "mess with." We can always catch him/her up when he/she returns to school. By sending a sick child to school you are exposing everyone else and it makes it very difficult to get everyone healthy. We are using alot of Kleenx and Chlorax wipes and doing everything possible to keep us all as healthy as possible. Hopefully, we will get through this season as quickly and healthy as possible.
Set your clock AHEAD one hour this weekend!!!
