Electrical Technology
- The Electrical Technology Program at UTC is a 2 year 1080 course that covers in depth the "Fundamentals of Electricity", "Residential Wiring", "Industrial and Commercial Wiring", and "National Elelctrical Code".
- Students learn how to preform load calculations based on the NEC code.
- Students are given classroom instruction and hands on lab exercises in a fast paced program.
- Upon successful completion of the 1080 hour course, students will be issued a certificate which will allow them to take the Journeyman's Exam given by the West Virginia State Fire Marshal.
