Algebra II
Algebra II continues the study of concepts introduced in Algebra. Graphing calculators are an integral part of instruction in the Algebra II objectives. Students will have the opportunity to make conjectures and test them by using any graphing utility. Manipulatives and other available technology will be used as appropriate. Click here to view Algebra 2 curriculum map.

Conceptual Mathematics

Conceptual Mathematics objectives include major topics from algebra and geometry.  Topics covered include:  patterns; relations and functions; algebraic symbols and mathematical models; two- and three-dimensional geometric shapes; coordinate geometry; transformations and symmetry; collection, organization, display and analyze data; basic concepts of probability.

Applied Geometry
Applied Geometry is a course for students who have successfully completed the objectives of Algebra I. Upon completion of this course a geometry credit will be given. Applied Geometry will use manipulatives to enhance the understanding of geometric concepts and terminology. Working in groups will allow students to analyze applications of geometry in their lives and in the work place. Concepts will be taught using laboratory activities including the use of technology as a learning tool. 

English
This class is a blend of grammar, literature, applied communications, and writing. Journals and item papers are included. Literature is drawn from approved county textbooks. Credit for English 9-12 is gained upon approval by the home high school. A fast-paced communications-based approach in incorporated into the class.
