Bible Club Meets on Thursdays
 
Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) will be sponsoring an after school bible club called “Jesus You Connection”. Many students are familiar with CEF and the Good News Club held in grade school. CEF is a nondenominational bible-based organization. Activities will include bible lessons, songs, and games. Meetings will be held every Thursday in the Auditorium from 2:50-4:00. Students must have a signed permission slip to attend. The first meeting will be October 24, 2009.  Transportation home is available if necessary.
 
 
Local Library Offers Homework Help
Literacy Volunteers of Harrison County is offering free homework help from 6-7:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at the Clarksburg Harrison Public Library.  Call 624-0533.
 
Project Issac (Increasing Student Achievement, Advancing Communities)

An after-school program from 2:45 to 4:30 Monday through Thursday. The program is funded by the West Virginia Department of Education and a 21st Century Community Learning grant.  WI's program is coordinated by coordinated by RESA VII staff.

LVHC offers: Free, confidential, one-on-one tutoring in basic reading, writing, and math skills;  tutoring in English as a second language (ESL); tutoring for GED® students enrolled in ABE (Adult Basic Education) classes.
