What is SnapGrades?
SnapGrades is an online gradebook program being used by members of the Washington Irving Middle School staff to improve the school to home connection. Through SnapGrades, students and parents can check current grades as well as individual assignments and scores online anytime. Washington Irving Middle School began using the program at the beginning of the 2006 school year.
How does it work?
Every student and each of their parents/guardians are sent home individual passwords at the beginning of the school year. Teachers post assignment descriptions and grades in their online gradebooks. With your secure access, you can bookmark a one-page summary of your child’s current grades for all classes. SnapGrades makes it easy to stay informed everyday!
What if I don’t have online access?
Washington Irving Middle Schools can send home printed progress reports at mid-point of each grading period if requested. Students are also permitted to access and print detailed information in the school library. Additionally, parents may consider using work/office computers or the public library.
